Agenda ini sempat terhenti selama dua tahun dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19. Syukur Alhamdulillah pada tahun ini pandemi mulai mereda dan setelah mendapatkan izin dari Dinas Pendidikan Kab. Banyumas akhirnya SMP Negeri 1 Somagede bisa melaksanakan kegiatan pelepasan siswa kelas 9. Diantara pertunjukan yang berlangsung di Gedung Indoor, Rabu (15\/6), seni tradisional seperti seni tari, karawitan dan menyanyi. Isi dari acara pentas seni merupakan penggalian kemampuan siswa-siswinya yang memiliki talenta cukup bagus untuk ditampilkan. Para seniman pelajar yang tampil mendalami seni dari kegiatan ekstra kurikuler di sekolah.
